CIVIL DESIGNER
DRC Engineering, Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking a full-time Civil Designer for our office in Anaheim Hills, CA or Riverside, CA with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to design components of a land development project including grading, utilities, hydrology, erosion control and water quality.
Experience with multiple government agencies ranging from cities, counties, dry utility companies and water districts. Additional experience with Caltrans and the Army Corps of Engineers desired but not required.
Experience in coordinating civil design aspects with planners, architects, landscape architects, geotechnical engineers, structural engineers and traffic engineers.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare preliminary drawings, construction drawings and exhibits from start to finish.
Ability to see the firm as a whole and understand the interrelationships of the various departments and the impact they have on one another.
Must have reliable transportation as the candidate may be required to make in-person submittals and attend project meetings on behalf of the company and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in Civil Engineering, or equivalent is required.
E.I.T. Certification or P.E. is highly desired, but not required.
