Amy Johnson

Dry Utility Division Manager

Amy is the Dry Utility Division Manager at DRC. In addition to managing daily operations for the team, she strategizes with developers and civil engineers to find cost-effective options for the design, installation, construction and maintenance of dry utilities on project sites. This includes overhead relocation of existing utilities and construction coordination for county road projects.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the dry utility industry, Amy has a proven track record for providing accurate work product that meets or exceeds her client’s critical timeframes and development/construction budgets. Here at DRC, she has invested 15 years of service to helping our clients succeed through careful coordination with the major California public utilities.

Prior to joining DRC, Amy worked for two dry utility coordination firms as well as for Southern California Edison where she earned her planning certificate. Our clients have found her experience on both sides of the utility industry to be a valuable asset.

While she has lived in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, she is a native Californian and is happy to call it home. Although, when relaxation calls, she can be found on the beach in Kauai or enjoying the rain in the Pacific Northwest.
